Your first annotated bibliography is due tomorrow. You do not need a working thesis yet, only a very specific and descriptive topic circa the end of the Middle Ages through the Enlightenment (1776 or so). Movement beyond a single word description such as democracy is required. A much better topic would be "examine the links between the witch hunts and the socio-economic changes in the 16th century and possibly the religious wars."
