KEY DATES:
1. Afternoon rehearsal dates beginning right after school on Tuesday, May 14 Wednesday, May 15 and Thursday, May 16. Meet in the middle school theater.
2. We will watch the film, Obedience on Thursday, May 30 during the long period.
2. On Friday, May 31 we will have our EUROPEAN PLAY beginning at 6:00 pm in the Middle School theater.
3. On Thursday, June 6 we will have our FINAL TEST on WW1, The Great Depression, and WWII. There will be two essay questions: 1. Why was WWI a Late Modernity War? Did this fact make the process of making peace more difficult? If so, why? 2. Why did the Holocaust occur?
The week of May 13.
CLASS ONE: we will discuss the Craig article, the armed stalemate, the collapse of Russia and the entry of the United States. I will also return your tests. HOMEWORK: please read sections 88-90 in Palmer.
CLASS TWO: we will discuss the reading. HOMEWORK: please read sections 91-93.
CLASS THREE: we will discuss the reading. HOMEWORK: please read sections 94-97 for next Tuesday.
CLASS FOUR: rehearse the play.
The week of May 20
CLASS ONE: we will discuss the reading. HOMEWORK: please read the handout on Fascism and sections 98-100.
CLASS TWO: we will discuss the reading. HOMEWORK: please finish chapter 20.
CLASS THREE: we will discuss the reading. HOMEWORK FOR TUESDAY: read chapter 21.
CLASS FOUR: we will rehearse the play.
